WELCOME TO ROSETEA

The RObotic SEnsors Technologies for Environment and Agriculture (ROSETEA) laboratory at Politecnico di Milano studies innovative methodologies and technologies to support the development of sustainable food production systems, and of resilient agricultural practices, increasing productivity and production while reducing the environmental footprint.

ROSETEA theoretical and applied research covers a wide spectrum of topics (link to Reserach Lines), including modelling robots and agricultural machinery for dynamic simulation, control system design and validation; autonomous navigation of UAVs and UGVs for agricultural applications; and farm automation.
The lab participates to research projects (link to Projects) funded by national and international agencies, and by companies, and in its activity keeps a strong link with the local, regonal and national agro-industrial production fabric.

The laboratory will be soon relocated in the new Cremona Campus (former Caserma Manfredini), a location that, thanks to the presence of big hangars, offers the possibility to host a mechanical shop, an electronic laboratory, and a big area, equipped with a motion tracking system, for indoor testing of UAVs and UGVs.
